Role: Joan
2017 is the year I still love to talk about because I’m still unsure it really happened. So many things had already been set in motion and I new opportunities came up and I was riding high on a wave of pre-planning genius and insane luck. The Nance is an amazing compact musical. With only 6 people on stage and so many costume changes and musical numbers where the lines of performance and reality blur within a story of the end of burlesque houses in NYC. I’m not sure how I got so lucky to end up in Seattle just in time to be in this show with some of the coolest people performing there. Our star won an award for his last project while we were still playing. I met so many cool people, learned so many songs and dancing and really felt privileged to be in the right place at the right time with a director willing to give me a shot. Still one of the most fun two months of my life. See more about this incredible little show at ARTS WEST’s site.
